The snow pear is well-known for its ability to generate fluids, moisten dryness, and clear heat while transforming phlegm. Cooking it with loquat helps to moisten the lungs, clear dryness, relieve cough, and nourish blood and muscles. 2. Chuan Bei (Fritillaria) and Rock Candy Stewed Snow Pear
Ingredients:1 snow pear, 3-4 small pieces of rock candy, 5g Chuan Bei.Method:1. Wash and peel the snow pear (peeling is optional), cut off about one-third from the top, and remove the pear core, being careful not to pierce the bottom.2. Crush the rock candy and Chuan Bei separately, the finer the better. You can also ask at the pharmacy to grind the Chuan Bei into powder.3. Pour the crushed rock candy and Chuan Bei powder into the snow pear.4. Steam in a steamer for 1-1.5 hours; if using a pressure cooker, the time can be shortened appropriately.5. It is best to consume all the pear flesh and soup after cooking.Chuan Bei stewed with snow pear has the effect of relieving cough and moistening the lungs. Long-term consumption can clear heat, disperse lumps, and relieve cough and phlegm. 3. Tremella and Quail Egg Soup
Ingredients:Tremella, quail eggs.Method:1. Shell the cooked quail eggs; soak the Tremella in water, wash, and tear into small pieces.2.
