The Spleen and Stomach are the foundation of our postnatal health. A deficiency in Spleen Qi can lead to poor health, and Huang Qi has the ability to tonify Spleen Qi, making it a good health-maintaining herb.

Pharmacological studies have also found that Huang Qi can regulate immunity, combat aging, and improve cardiac function, making it very suitable for use in medicinal cuisine for health maintenance and anti-aging.

It has also been found that Gou Qi Zi has beneficial effects such as enhancing immunity, anti-tumor properties, lowering blood pressure and blood sugar, and delaying aging.

3. San Qi (Notoginseng)
