Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) believes: “When the five organs are diseased, one should use the twelve source points”, meaning that when the organs are ill, one should treat them using the “source points”. Most of the source points are located near the wrists and ankles.
This method stimulates the wrists and ankles through exercise, activating the twelve primary meridian source points to improve organ function; it also uses the metaphor of “the five virtues of the golden rooster” to help you appreciate the wisdom of Confucianism in self-cultivation and family governance, achieving the goal of “nurturing righteous qi” and further consolidating the health preservation effect of “the unity of man and society”.

Content of the Song
The rooster sings joyfully on a peaceful day; A prosperous year filled with happiness.
This reminds practitioners to fully enjoy a prosperous and harmonious health-preserving environment, and to emulate the rooster’s“red comb on its head, cultured; feet stepping on the ground, martial; able to fight when encountering an enemy, brave; able to call other roosters to eat when finding food, benevolent; and crowing on time every day to report the time to the world, trustworthy” virtues, to contribute to our happy life today.

The upward motion of the arms and downward pressing of the palms help to unblock the source points of the hand’s three yin and three yang, promoting circulation, nourishing the heart and lungs, regulating the Sanjiao (Triple Burner), and moistening the intestines to resolve constipation.3. Strengthening leg power, preventing osteoporosis and improving balance.03Key Points of Practice1. Focus your mind and guard the Dantian (Energy Center).2. When bending the arms to the side and lifting the wrists, it is advisable to open the chest, stretch the body, and lift the head.4. When squatting, contract the buttocks, relax the waist, and keep the knees close together.

Regularly practice basic heel-lifting bowing movements using support (trees, walls, door frames, etc.).
