This method involves large arm stretches and ankle rotations, further activating the original points of the twelve meridians and improving organ function. It metaphorically represents the musical phrase “Ping Sha Luo Yan” (平沙落雁), depicting the scene of geese rising and falling on the beach, creating a serene and peaceful state of mind for the practitioner.01
Content of the Song
A light boat drifts away on the waves, the autumn wind sends the geese down from the moon.
This expresses the practitioner’s “lofty aspirations of the swan and the heart of a free spirit”, inspiring people to pursue beautiful things and a bright future. 02
Mechanism of Action
1. Focusing on the Laogong point (劳宫), helps to regulate the hand Jueyin Pericardium meridian, soothing the heart and balancing blood flow.
2. The ankle rotation helps to stimulate the inner thigh’s Sanyin meridian (足三阴经) and the original points at the ankle, enhancing liver, spleen, and kidney function.
3. Repeated squatting exercises help to increase leg strength, improving balance and preventing osteoporosis.
03
Key Points of Practice
