Ingredients: 10 grams of prepared He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum), 25 grams of jujube, 100 grams of japonica rice, appropriate amount of brown sugar.
Method: Place prepared He Shou Wu and an appropriate amount of water in a clay pot, simmer for 30 minutes, strain to keep the liquid. Add jujube and washed japonica rice to the liquid, cook for 30 minutes until the porridge thickens, and add brown sugar to taste.
This porridge is a good recipe for maintaining youth and anti-aging, regular consumption makes one radiant with black and lustrous hair. It is suitable for those with premature graying of hair, hair loss, dry hair, dull skin, pale or sallow complexion, early aging, and constipation. Ingredients: 3 eggs, 300 grams of flour, a pinch of salt.
Method: Beat the eggs and mix with salt, then add to the flour to make a thick batter. Heat a flat pan, reduce to low heat, pour in a large spoonful of batter, cook until set, flip, and cook both sides until done, serve as a staple food.
Eggs can nourish Yin and blood, detoxify, and are often used for weakness and fatigue, heat disease, and diarrhea. The white flour made from wheat also has the effect of strengthening the spleen and stopping diarrhea. Moisten Dryness, Nourish the Lungs, Stop Coughing and Relieve WheezingAlmond Tofu

Ingredients: 500 grams of glutinous rice flour, 50 grams each of yam and fried white lentils, 30 grams each of coix seed, lotus seed, fox nut, and poria, 100 grams of white sugar.
Method: Grind yam, white lentils, coix seed, lotus seed, fox nut, and poria into powder, mix with glutinous rice flour and white sugar, add an appropriate amount of water to mix until it can be formed into a block. Pack the mixed powder into a mold, press firmly, and steam in a steamer for 40 minutes.
This recipe is a traditional dietary therapy. The eight ingredients of glutinous rice, yam, white lentils, lotus seed, fox nut, coix seed, poria, and white sugar are all good for strengthening the spleen and stomach, benefiting Qi, and treating spleen deficiency and diarrhea, collectively known as the “Eight Treasures”.

Ingredients: 20 grams of Bai Zhu (Atractylodes macrocephala), 6 grams of dried ginger, 10 grams of chicken inner gold, 50 grams of jujube, 150 grams of flour.
Method: Steam the jujube until cooked, then mash into a paste; grind Bai Zhu, chicken inner gold, and dried ginger into powder. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, add water to mix into a batter. Heat a flat pan, place a mold, pour in the batter, wait for it to set, remove the mold, and cook both sides until done.
The above ingredients combined with flour can replenish the spleen and stomach, transform stagnation, stop diarrhea, and increase appetite, especially suitable for daily maintenance of the elderly and children with spleen and stomach deficiency. Those with Yin deficiency, Yang excess, or internal heat and thirst should not consume it excessively.
Warm the Middle, Disperse Cold, Regulate Qi, and Stop PainGinger, Tangerine Peel, and Pepper Fish Soup

Ingredients: 1 crucian carp (about 300 grams), 15 grams each of dried ginger and tangerine peel, a little cilantro, 20 grams of green onion, salt and pepper to taste.
Method: Place dried ginger and tangerine peel in a spice bag and seal. Clean the crucian carp, place it in a pot with an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil, skim off the foam, add green onion and spice bag, simmer for 20 minutes, add salt, and simmer briefly. Finally, sprinkle with pepper and cilantro to finish.
The crucian carp paired with various warm and spicy seasonings like ginger, pepper, tangerine peel, green onion, and cilantro can enhance the effects of strengthening the spleen, warming the stomach, dispersing cold, stopping pain, and stimulating appetite.
Disperse Wind, Clear Heat, Open the Lungs, and Stop CoughingAlmond, Mulberry, and Chrysanthemum Drink

Effects: Disperse wind, clear heat, open the lungs, and stop coughing, used for external wind-heat, wind-heat cold, lung heat, and dry cough, sore throat, etc.
Ingredients: 6 grams each of mulberry leaves and chrysanthemum, 10 grams of almonds, appropriate amount of rock candy.
Method: Place mulberry leaves, chrysanthemum, and crushed almonds in a cup, pour in boiling water, cover and steep for 15 minutes, then add rock candy to taste before drinking. Take one dose daily, drink frequently instead of tea.
This drink primarily clears heat, and those with spleen and stomach deficiency, chronic cough, or phlegm with yellow and thick consistency should avoid drinking it.
Generate Fluids, Quench Thirst, Transform Phlegm, and Stop CoughingFive Juice Drink

Effects: Sweet and cold, clears heat, generates fluids, quenches thirst, transforms phlegm, and stops coughing, used for warm disease thirst, heat injuring fluids, lung heat, and dry cough, also can prevent and treat heat colds, lung diseases, and throat diseases.
Ingredients: 20 grams of reed root, 15 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus, 100 grams each of pear, water chestnut, and lotus root. Lotus root can also be replaced with sugar cane for good heat-clearing effects.
Method: Wash, peel, and dice the pear, water chestnut, and lotus root. Boil reed root and Ophiopogon japonicus with an appropriate amount of water, strain to obtain 150 milliliters of liquid, set aside. Place the diced pear, water chestnut, and lotus root in a juicer, add an appropriate amount of water, and blend into a mixed juice. Pour the mixed juice into a bowl, add the strained liquid from reed root and Ophiopogon japonicus, and mix well before drinking.
This recipe is a classic heat-clearing formula for warm diseases. All five ingredients are sweet and cold, nourishing Yin, generating fluids, and moistening dryness. Pear, water chestnut, and lotus root focus on clearing heat from the lung meridian, while reed root and Ophiopogon japonicus also clear stomach heat, working together for enhanced heat-clearing effects.
