Sliding Cupping
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Unique Treatments
Do you often feel stiffness and discomfort in your neck and shoulders,
with tight and aching muscles throughout your back?
Do you often feel heavy and weak in your body,
and suspect that you have excessive dampness?
If you have the above discomfort symptoms,
it is recommended that you try a traditional treatment method—Sliding Cupping
What is Sliding Cupping?
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Sliding cupping therapy, also known as gliding cupping, uses cups as tools. A suitable amount of lubricant is applied to the rim of the cup and the affected area. By using heat to expel air from the cup, a negative pressure is created, allowing the cup to adhere to the skin. The cup is then moved back and forth over the affected area, causing the skin to become reddened or congested.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
After treatment, drink plenty of warm water, and do not bathe for 4-6 hours. Keep warm to prevent getting cold.
Avoid consuming cold and raw foods after treatment, and limit intake of fruits and seafood.
If blisters appear after treatment, small blisters generally do not require treatment; keep the area dry and they can be absorbed in 2-3 days. Large blisters need to be treated under a doctor’s guidance to avoid infection.
