Ai Yu Xiang Tang
1. Fang Ji Huang Qi Tang (Sichuan Teasel and Astragalus Decoction) – For heaviness, floating pulse, and sweating with aversion to wind, use seven and a half qian of Shu (Atractylodes), five qian of Gan (Licorice), one liang of Ji (Sichuan Teasel), and four slices of ginger with one jujube. Bai He Xi Fang (Lily Wash) – If unable to quench thirst for a month, evil heat lingers in the lungs; one sheng of Bai He (Lily) and one dou of water, wash the body and eat cakes without soup. 12. Gua Lou Mu Li San (Melon and Oyster Powder) – If still thirsty, it belongs to floating Yang; equal amounts of Mu Li (Oyster) and Gua Lou (Melon) are ground into powder and taken with a spoonful of water; cold, salty, and bitter effects are often effective. 13. Bai He Hua Shi San (Lily and Talc Powder) – Previously, there was no heat or cold; it has turned into heat, which is to be feared. Hou Shi Hei San (Hou’s Black Powder) – Black powder with Xin Ling (Cinnamon), Gui (Cinnamon), and Qiang Huo (Notopterygium) each three; Ren Shen (Ginseng), Jiang (Ginger), and Mu Li (Oyster) each three; Ju Hua (Chrysanthemum) forty, Shu (Atractylodes) ten, and Qiang (Bitter Almond) five fen. 25. Feng Yin Tang (Wind Inducing Decoction) – Four liang of Da Huang (Rhubarb), two Ma Huang (Ephedra), and four Jiang (Ginger), three Gui (Cinnamon); cold and slippery, red stone, and purple ointment six; epilepsy and various winds are explored. 26. Fang Ji Di Huang Tang (Sichuan Teasel and Rehmannia Decoction) – Wandering and speaking madness; one fen of Ji (Sichuan Teasel), three Gui (Cinnamon), and one Gan (Licorice) are used. Gui Zhi Long Gu Mu Li Tang (Cinnamon, Dragon Bone, and Oyster Decoction) – Men lose essence and women dream of intercourse; Kan and Li save treatment in the middle hexagram; add Long Gu (Dragon Bone) and Mu Li (Oyster) to the original Gui Zhi Tang (Cinnamon Decoction); three liang are mixed and finely pounded. 36. Shu Yu Wan (Dioscorea Pill) – Thirty Shu Yu (Dioscorea) and twenty Gan (Licorice); three Jiang (Ginger) and two to cover one hundred jujubes; five fen of Fu Ling (Poria) and five fen of Chai Hu (Bupleurum) are good; two fen of Dou Juan (Bean Roll) and one fen of Gui (Cinnamon) are all suitable for ten parts to mix and pound. 39. Suan Zao Ren Tang (Sour Jujube Seed Decoction) – Two sheng of Suan Zao (Sour Jujube) first boil the soup; two liang of Fu Ling (Poria) assist well; one each of Shao Yao (Peony) and Gan (Licorice) are adjusted; after taking, one can sleep peacefully. 40. Da Huang Zhe Chong Wan (Rhubarb and Leech Pill) – Dry blood causes tuberculosis; warm the center and supplement deficiency; one hundred leeches and half a sheng; peach, apricot, and leech one sheng; one liang of dry lacquer and ten Rehmannia; more than ten Da Huang (Rhubarb) and four Gan (Licorice) are needed; five labor must be verified; this formula is not to be doubted; it can bring the dead back to life. 41. She Gan Ma Huang Tang (Belamcanda and Ephedra Decoction) – Coughing in the throat with water and chicken sounds; three liang of Gan (Belamcanda) and half a sheng of jujubes; Jiang (Ginger) and Ma Huang (Ephedra) three liang break the hard city. 42. Ze Qi Tang (Alisma Decoction) – Five liang of Ren Shen (Ginseng), Jiang (Ginger), and Bai Qian (White Atractylodes); three sheng of Ze Qi (Alisma) are divided and decocted; Gui (Cinnamon), Huang Qin (Scutellaria), and Gan (Licorice) are all three liang; half a sheng of Ban Xia (Pinellia) is used to wash the drink. 45. Qian Jin Wei Jing Tang (Thousand Gold Reed Stem Decoction) – Chest obstruction and lung abscess form; vexation and fullness with cough and phlegm; half a sheng of Yi Ren (Job’s Tears) and fifty peaches; first boil two sheng of stems. 53. Ben Tun Tang (Running Pig Decoction) – Qi rushes and abdominal pain is called running pig; four liang of Ban Xia (Pinellia), five Ge Gen (Pueraria), and Gui (Cinnamon) are used; Shao Yao (Peony), Qiang Huo (Notopterygium), and Gan (Licorice) two liang; Li Pi (Plum Peel) must reach one sheng. 54. Gua Lou Xie Bai Bai Jiu Tang (Trichosanthes, Garlic, and White Wine Decoction) – The chest is the Yang position like the sky; Yin qi lingers and obstructs; half a sheng of Xie Bai (Garlic) and one Gua Lou (Trichosanthes) with seven sheng of white wine work wonders. 55. Gua Lou Xie Bai Ban Xia Tang (Trichosanthes, Garlic, and Pinellia Decoction) – Chest and back pain and cannot lie down; half a sheng of Ban Xia (Pinellia) and one Gua Lou (Trichosanthes) are used; Xie Bai (Garlic) is three liang; one dou of wine is boiled together to wash the drink. 56. Gua Lou Xie Bai Gui Zhi Tang (Trichosanthes, Garlic, and Cinnamon Decoction) – Distension connects the chest and ribs, attacking the heart; half a sheng of Xie Bai (Garlic) and four Shu (Atractylodes) are sought; one Gua Lou (Trichosanthes) and one liang of Gui (Cinnamon); four pieces of Zhi Shi (Bitter Orange) clear floating Yin. 57. Fu Ling Gan Cao Xing Ren Tang (Poria, Licorice, and Apricot Kernel Decoction) – Obstruction and shortness of breath are difficult to treat; two liang of Gan (Licorice), three liang of Fu Ling (Poria), and fifty pieces of Xing Ren (Apricot Kernel); water flows smoothly without seeking wonders. 58. Ju Pi Zhi Shi Sheng Jiang Tang (Tangerine Peel, Bitter Orange, and Ginger Decoction) – Obstruction and qi blockage, what is the use? Three liang of Zhi Shi (Bitter Orange) is appropriate; one jin of Ju Pi (Tangerine Peel) and half a jin of Jiang (Ginger); qi opens and disperses, do not hesitate. 59. Yi Ren Fu Zi San (Job’s Tears and Aconite Powder) – Obstruction comes slowly, belonging to Yang deficiency; ten pieces of Fu Zi (Aconite) must not be delayed; there are also fifteen liang of Yi Ren (Job’s Tears); tendons nourish Yin and return Yang. 60. Gui Zhi Sheng Jiang Zhi Shi Tang (Cinnamon, Ginger, and Bitter Orange Decoction) – Heart suspended and painful, distension is connected; phlegm and drink rise, guest qi fills; three liang of Gui (Cinnamon), five liang of Jiang (Ginger), and five liang of Zhi Shi (Bitter Orange) drive away cold, disperse reverse, and attack stubbornness.

Wu Tou Chi Shi Zhi Wan (Aconite and Red Stone Pill) – Pain in the back and chest does not stop; the sun wants to extinguish, which is truly worrying; one fen of Wu Tou (Aconite) and five qian of Fu Zi (Aconite) with red stone, pepper, and ginger one liang are sought. 62. Jiu Tong Wan (Nine Pain Pill) – Nine types of heart pain are not difficult to treat; wolfberry, ginger, bean, and Fu Zi (Aconite) are all safe; Fu Zi must be three liang, and all must be observed carefully. 63. Fu Zi Geng Mi Tang (Aconite and Glutinous Rice Decoction) – Abdominal pain cuts like thunder; chest and ribs are all swollen, vomiting occurs; one piece of Fu Zi (Aconite) and ten jujubes; half a sheng of Geng Mi (Glutinous Rice) and one Gan (Licorice) are boiled. 64. Hou Po Qi Wu Tang (Magnolia Seven Ingredients Decoction) – Fullness and constipation with a floating pulse; three liang of Gan (Licorice), Huang (Yellow), and eight Hou Po (Magnolia) are used; two Gui (Cinnamon), five Jiang (Ginger), and twelve jujubes; five pieces of Zhi Shi (Bitter Orange) are effective. 65. Hou Po San Wu Tang (Magnolia Three Ingredients Decoction) – Pain and constipation are undoubtedly present; four liang of Da Huang (Rhubarb) and double the Hou Po (Magnolia); five pieces of Zhi Shi (Bitter Orange) are boiled first; Xiao Cheng (Minor Change) is even more miraculous. 66. Da Jian Zhong Tang (Major Build Middle Decoction) – Pain, vomiting, and difficulty eating belong to great cold; abdominal pain and head and feet touch it difficult; four liang of dry ginger and two heaping of pepper; two liang of Ren Shen (Ginseng) and one sheng of rice porridge are safe. 67. Da Huang Fu Zi Tang (Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction) – Side pain and tight pulse; if not warmed down, it may delay; three liang of Da Huang (Rhubarb) and three pieces of Fu Zi (Aconite); two liang of Xiao Xin (Small Ginger) can supplement heaven. 68. Chi Wan Fang (Red Pill Formula) – Cold and counterflow are precious; four liang of summer Ling (Pinellia) and one liang of Xin (Cinnamon); two liang of Wu Tou (Aconite) are soaked; honey pills are red and wonderful to communicate with the spirit. 69. Da Wu Tou Jian (Major Aconite Decoction) – Tight and string-like pain around the navel; white fluid counterflows cold and is desolate; one Wu Tou (Aconite) boiled with honey; at once, it is urgent to lift. 70. Dang Gui Sheng Jiang Yang Rou Tang (Angelica, Ginger, and Lamb Decoction) – Abdominal pain and side pain are urgent; lamb, five liang of ginger, and three of Dang Gui (Angelica); now cardamom and fragrant sand methods are laughable; depend on blind guidance. If cold increases, add one jin of ginger; for pain and vomiting, add orange and Shu (Atractylodes); Shu (Atractylodes) uses one and orange two liang; expel phlegm, stop vomiting, and supplement the center. 71. Wu Tou Gui Zhi Tang (Aconite and Cinnamon Decoction) – Abdominal pain, body pain, and limbs are numb; medicine attacks, acupuncture is not true; Gui Zhi Tang (Cinnamon Decoction) is boiled according to the original formula; honey boiled Wu Tou (Aconite) is used together. 72. Wai Tai Zou Ma Tang (External Tai Zou Ma Decoction) – External evil qi harms many; abdominal distension and heart pain; Ba Xing (Apricot) two pieces are finely pounded; pour soup and knead juice to drive away evil. 73. Xuan Fu Hua Tang (Inula Flower Decoction) – For those with liver issues wanting to step on the chest, hot soup is drunk to relieve; three liang of Xuan Fu Hua (Inula Flower) and fourteen scallions; new drops are slightly passed. 74. Gan Sui Ban Xia Tang (Gansui and Pinellia Decoction) – Fullness reduces and continues to return; five pieces of Gan Sui (Gansui) and five pieces of Shao Yao (Peony); twelve pieces of Ban Xia (Pinellia) are boiled with honey. 76. Mu Fang Ji Tang (Mugwort Decoction) – Wheezing fullness and hard face; Ji (Sichuan Teasel) three, Gui (Cinnamon) two, and four Ren Shen (Ginseng) are applied; two pieces of Gao (Ointment) like chicken eggs; bitter and cold, warm and suitable. 77. Mu Fang Ji Qu Shi Gao Jia Fu Ling Mang Xiao Tang (Mugwort Decoction without Gypsum and with Poria and Glauber’s Salt) – Four liang of Poria is added without ointment; three pieces of Glauber’s Salt are combined; qi moves and gathers, knowing it is real; softening hard lumps is not laborious. 78. Ze Xie Tang (Alisma Decoction) – Clear Yang position, Yin evil occupies; dizziness frequently, suffering unbearable; five Ze Xie (Alisma) as the monarch, two liang of Shu (Atractylodes); supplementing the spleen controls water has miraculous effects. 79.
