Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat and Yang Deficiency are different syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat refers to a condition where there is a significant manifestation of internal heat based on Yin Deficiency. Common symptoms include soreness and weakness in the lower back and knees, heat in the palms and soles, irritability, insomnia, dizziness, tinnitus, night sweats, dry mouth, sores on the tongue and mouth, dry and hard stools, short and red urine, strong and easily maintained erections, a red tongue with little coating, or a crimson tongue, and a thin, rapid pulse.
Yang Deficiency is characterized by symptoms such as aversion to cold, fatigue, cold limbs, a bland and tasteless mouth, frequent and copious night urination, loose stools, or even watery stools, a sensation of cold in the abdomen, a pale and swollen tongue, and a deep pulse.
