01
Tooth Tapping Method
Every morning, tap your teeth together, starting with the molars (back teeth) for 30 times, then the incisors (front teeth) for another 30 times, which helps to strengthen the teeth.
02
Closed Mouth Breathing Method
Regularly close your mouth and quietly adjust your breathing, maintaining a smooth and gentle rhythm.
03
Hair Combing
Insert your fingers into your hair and comb it from front to back, which helps to regulate the qi and blood in the head, relax tension, and clear the mind.
04
Eye Movement Method
After prolonged eye work, take a break by rotating your eyes from left to right about 10 times, then from right to left 10 times, followed by gazing into the distance, and then closing your eyes for a moment. Repeat this 4-5 times to help clear the liver and improve vision, alleviating eye fatigue.
05
Abdominal Massage Method
After each meal, while walking, use your warm palms to massage your abdomen in a clockwise direction around the navel about 30 times, which helps to strengthen the stomach, aid digestion, and relieve bloating.
06
Foot Sole Massage Method
The foot sole is where the Yongquan (Kidney 1) point is located. Every night before bed, use your thumb to massage the foot sole in a clockwise direction about 100 times, which helps to strengthen the waist and kidneys.
07
Ear Covering Method
When feeling anxious or troubled, try covering your ears with both hands, closing your eyes, and slowly tilting your head up and down 5-8 times. This helps to clear the mind and dispel distractions.
08
Qi Lifting Method
While inhaling, gently contract the anus and perineum together, holding for 1-2 seconds before slowly exhaling and relaxing. This is commonly referred to as performing Kegel exercises, which helps prevent and treat anal hemorrhoids and promotes blood circulation.
09
Saliva Swallowing Method
In TCM, saliva is considered to be transformed from kidney essence, secreted by the left Jinjin (Golden Saliva) point and the right Yuye (Jade Liquid) point at the root of the tongue. Therefore, saliva is also referred to as “Golden Saliva and Jade Liquid.” Every morning, pressing the tongue against the upper palate helps to connect the Ren and Du meridians, regulate the channels, and promote qi and blood flow. Swallowing the saliva several times when the mouth is full can aid digestion and replenish kidney essence.
10
Facial Rubbing Method
Every morning, after washing your face, rub your hands together to warm them, then use your middle fingers to rub along both sides of the nose from bottom to top to the forehead, then spread your hands to the sides, rubbing down the cheeks about 10 times until you feel a slight warmth in your face. This helps to clear the facial meridians, promote qi and blood flow, eliminate fatigue, and invigorate health.
