(1) Differentiate and treat deficiency syndromes accurately.
(2) Strong constitution individuals should avoid supplementation; use cautiously in cases of excess pathogenic factors.
(3) Individuals with Spleen and Stomach deficiency should first regulate the Spleen and Stomach, or add formulas that strengthen the Spleen and harmonize the Stomach to the beneficial formulas, as the principle states that deficiency cannot be supplemented.
(4) The best time to take medicine is on an empty stomach or before meals.
The beneficial TCM formulas mentioned above are just a portion of the commonly used ones. Everyone is welcome to add comments. In contemporary society, people are busy with work, life, and study, often neglecting their health. However, a healthy body is a prerequisite for adapting to society, so many people hope to take tonics to strengthen their bodies for better results. However, tonics are still medicines, and there is an old saying in TCM: “All medicines have some toxicity.”Therefore, tonics should not be taken indiscriminately; only by understanding their basic functions and using them rationally can they treat diseases and strengthen the body. Thus, it is best to consult a TCM hospital for targeted treatment.
