The body type is often slender and long, frequently feeling heat in the palms and soles, with flushed or reddish cheeks, dry eyes, dry mouth and throat, prone to insomnia, irritable temperament, a red tongue, and little coating.

Emotional Regulation
It is advisable to strengthen self-cultivation, develop patience, minimize disputes and anger, and avoid competitive activities. One can practice calligraphy or painting in a quiet and elegant environment. If conditions allow, choose to travel and relax in fresh and cool seaside or mountainous areas. It is recommended to enjoy soft and soothing music, such as Schubert’s “Serenade”.

Dietary Nourishment
It is advisable to select sweet, cool, and moistening foods, such as duck meat, lean pork, lily bulbs, black sesame, honey, water chestnuts, soft-shelled turtle, jellyfish, sea cucumber, sugar cane, white fungus, and bird’s nest. Avoid warm, dry, spicy, and rich foods, such as lamb, leeks, fennel, chili, scallions, garlic, sunflower seeds, alcohol, coffee, strong tea, as well as lychee, longan, cherries, apricots, jujubes, walnuts, and chestnuts.
Reference Dietary Therapy:
(1) Honey and White Fungus Steamed Lily Bulbs: Lily bulbs, honey, and white fungus have the effect of nourishing Yin, generating fluids, and moistening dryness, suitable for those with Yang deficiency who often feel dry throat and mouth, and have dry skin. This formula is not suitable for diabetic patients.
(2) Lotus Seed and Lily Soup with Lean Pork: Lotus seeds (with hearts removed), lily bulbs, and lean pork have the effects of nourishing Yin, clearing heat, benefiting Qi, and calming the spirit, suitable for those with Yin deficiency who often feel irritable, have insomnia, and vivid dreams.

Daily Routine Regulation
The living environment should be quiet, and one should ensure good “noon and midnight sleep”. Avoid staying up late and working in high temperatures, and do not take saunas or hot springs. Limit sexual activity and avoid smoking. Pay attention to sun protection, keep the skin moist, and choose cool and soft clothing, such as silk.

Exercise and Health Care
Engage in moderate-intensity exercise, control sweating, and replenish fluids in a timely manner. Avoid high-intensity and high-volume workouts, and refrain from exercising in hot summer or humid environments. One can choose to practice Ba Duan Jin (Eight Pieces of Brocade), and after completing the full set of movements, add 1-3 repetitions of “Shaking Head and Waving Tail to Eliminate Heart Fire” and “Two Hands Climbing Feet to Strengthen Kidney and Waist”. Tai Chi and Tai Chi Sword are also good options.

Acupoint Health Care
(1) Selected Points: Tai Xi (Tai Xi) and San Yin Jiao (San Yin Jiao)
(2) Location: Tai Xi is located on the inner side of the foot, behind the inner ankle, in the depression between the tip of the inner ankle and the Achilles tendon; San Yin Jiao is located on the inner side of the lower leg, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, behind the medial border of the tibia.
(3) Operation: Use finger kneading method (see Ping He Constitution), press and knead each acupoint for 2-3 minutes, once or twice a day.
