Bloodletting therapy is a unique acupuncture treatment method in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The Nei Jing even considers bloodletting therapy as the first choice for treating diseases and alleviating pain.
TCM believes that “when there is flow, there is no pain; when there is pain, there is no flow.” Bloodletting therapy can directly expel the pathogenic factors that are stagnant in the meridians, adjusting the obstructed conditions. Once the meridians are unblocked, the pain can be immediately relieved.
Recently, a patient with acute low back pain visited the Pain Department of Lingbao City Hospital. After examination, the doctor chose the method of “bloodletting therapy” to address the patient’s pain issue. After several treatments, the patient noticeably felt a reduction in pain compared to before.

Individuals with weak constitutions, anemia, needle phobia, pregnant women, women during menstruation, and patients with serious illnesses are also prohibited from using bloodletting therapy;
Contraindicated areas: The contraindicated areas for bloodletting therapy include the eyes, ear tips, and other facial features, as well as the left side of the male perineal artery and the right side of the female perineal artery;
