Pu’er Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was established in 1979, covering an area of 40.8 acres, with a business area of 30,000 square meters, and has 53 functional, clinical, and medical technology departments. As of April 2023, the hospital has 599 staff members, including 61 with master’s degrees or higher, and 535 health professionals (including 28 senior titles, 88 associate senior titles, 151 intermediate titles, and 268 junior titles). The hospital has 800 beds, with 506 currently open. It is equipped with over a thousand medical devices, including 1.5T MRI, 64-slice CT, DR, biochemical analyzers, and color Doppler ultrasound. It is a comprehensive TCM hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, rehabilitation, and preventive health services.On December 8, 2020, Pu’er Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was approved as a national standardized training base for TCM resident physicians.
