毫针疗法 (Mao Zhen Therapy) is one of the ancient ‘nine needles.’ Its fine needles stimulate acupuncture points through specific techniques to unblock meridians and regulate internal organs, achieving the goal of strengthening the body and expelling pathogens. As a traditional project in the acupuncture department, Mao Zhen Therapy is widely applied in various clinical conditions across internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, and otorhinolaryngology.
火针疗法 (Huo Zhen Therapy)
火针疗法 (Huo Zhen Therapy) is a unique therapy guided by TCM theory, using specially designed needles that are heated and then inserted into acupuncture points along the meridians to treat and prevent diseases. Fire needles are referred to as ‘burning needles’ or ‘quenched needles’ in the Ling Shu. This therapy combines the effects of acupuncture and moxibustion, promoting circulation, dispelling dampness and cold, resolving stasis, detoxifying, replenishing Qi, lifting Yang, preventing diseases, and enhancing health. It is widely used in clinical practice for conditions such as neck, shoulder, waist, and knee pain, arthritis, shingles, neurodermatitis, gastrointestinal diseases, and sensitivity to cold.
梅花针疗法 (Mei Hua Zhen Therapy)
梅花针疗法 (Mei Hua Zhen Therapy) involves tapping specific areas or acupuncture points on the body with a plum blossom needle to treat and prevent diseases. The plum blossom needle was created based on the needling theories of ‘hair prick method,’ ‘half prick method,’ and ‘raising prick method’ from the Neijing. The tapping of the skin has the effects of unblocking meridians, promoting new growth, balancing Yin and Yang, and harmonizing internal organs. It is clinically used to treat bone and joint diseases, neurodermatitis, shingles, alopecia areata, insomnia, and more.
浮针疗法 (Fu Zhen Therapy)
浮针疗法 (Fu Zhen Therapy) uses disposable floating needles and other tools to perform needling activities around the superficial fascia of localized pain. Fu Zhen Therapy is a product of the combination of traditional acupuncture and modern medicine, inheriting and promoting the ancient acupuncture techniques and valuable practical experiences while integrating modern medical findings, especially in acupuncture research. It is clinically applied to pain conditions, sports injuries, and various gynecological disorders.
芒针疗法 (Mang Zhen Therapy)
芒针 (Mang Zhen) is derived from the ancient ‘nine needles,’ combining the ‘long needle’ and ‘fine needle.’ Named for its resemblance to wheat awns, the ‘Zhi Bian Tuo Shui Dao’ technique is a special needling method within Mang Zhen Therapy. This technique involves needling the Zhi Bian point at a specific angle and direction towards the Shui Dao point to treat diseases. It is a unique therapeutic technique in TCM, characterized by its simplicity, practicality, and cost-effectiveness, primarily used for treating urogenital system diseases.
