2. Gui Zhi Jia Ge Gen Decoction: Gui Zhi plus Ge Gen (Kudzu Root) moves through the meridians, relieving stiffness in the neck and back with sweating. It releases the exterior, dispels wind, and nourishes the meridians, treating soft spasms effectively.
3. Gui Zhi Jia Fu Zi Decoction: Gui Zhi plus Fu Zi (Aconite) treats three conditions: wind-cold causing limb pain with a slow pulse. If sweating does not stop and there is severe aversion to wind, it addresses numbness of the skin and cold in the Wei Yang.
4. Gui Zhi Qu Shao Yao Decoction: The purpose of removing Shao Yao (Peony) from Gui Zhi is to address fullness in the chest and palpitations due to deficiency in the center. If there is coughing and shortness of breath, Gui Zhi, Gan Jiang, and Da Zao will treat it thoroughly.
5. Gui Zhi Qu Shao Yao Jia Fu Zi Decoction: Removing Shao Yao from Gui Zhi avoids cold and dampness, adding Fu Zi to assist Yang. If the pulse is rapid and weak with a pale tongue, the treatment for chest obstruction is not trivial.
6. Gui Zhi Ma Huang Ge Ban Decoction: Gui Zhi and Ma Huang (Ephedra) each in equal parts, preventing small pathogens from dispersing. If the face is red and the body itches, the two formulas combined induce slight sweating.
7. Gui Zhi Er Ma Huang Yi Decoction: Gui Zhi twice and Ma Huang once is a combined formula, effective for treating cold and heat like malaria. After a major sweat, if the exterior is not resolved, it simultaneously expels pathogens and restores the upright Qi.
8. Gui Zhi Er Yue Bi Yi Decoction: Gui Zhi plus Ma Huang in small amounts, with more heat than cold and a weak pulse. The method of slight sweating also clears heat, remember Gui Zhi and Er Yue together.
9. Gui Zhi Qu Gui Jia Fu Ling Bai Zhu Decoction: Removing Gui Zhi from the Gui Zhi Decoction, adding Fu Ling (Poria) and Bai Zhu (White Atractylodes) to benefit water and dampness. If urination is not smooth and there is fullness under the heart, with stiff neck and pain, heat is present.
10. Gui Zhi Jia Hou Po Xing Ren Decoction: Gui Zhi plus Hou Po (Magnolia Bark) and Xing Ren (Apricot Kernel) treats wheezing due to wind. The current treatment for pneumonia is comparable to Ma Huang and Xing Ren.
11. Gui Zhi Jia Shao Yao Sheng Jiang Yi Liang Ren Shen San Liang Xin Jia Decoction: Gui Zhi plus Ren Shen (Ginseng) in a new decoction, increasing ginger and Shao Yao for enhanced efficacy. Body aches with a deep pulse are not exterior symptoms; blood deficiency and weak Ying lead to excessive sweating.
12. Gui Zhi Gan Cao Decoction: Gui Zhi and Gan Cao (Licorice) nourish heart deficiency, with both hands sweating profusely. Excessive sweating depletes fluids and weakens heart Yang; the dosage should be small and focused.
13. Xiao Jian Zhong Decoction: Gui Zhi plus Yi Tang (Rock Candy) in Xiao Jian Zhong, with double the amount of Shao Yao for effectiveness. For deficiency and internal urgency with palpitations, and for cold damage with a slow pulse, it is effective.
14. Gui Zhi Qu Shao Yao Jia Shu Qi Mu Li Long Gu Jiu Ni Decoction: Removing Shao Yao from Gui Zhi to avoid assisting Yin, phlegm-water invading the heart causes agitation. Long Gu (Dragon Bone) calms the spirit, assisted by Gui Zhi, while Shu Qi clears phlegm with remarkable efficacy.
15. Gui Zhi Jia Gui Decoction: Increasing the dosage of Gui Zhi in the formula, the rushing of the heart is fierce. It calms the rushing and resolves exterior cold, nourishing the heart and supporting the kidney with remarkable effects.
16. Gui Zhi Gan Cao Long Gu Mu Li Decoction: The formula of Gui Zhi and Gan Cao, with the addition of Long Gu and Mu Li (Oyster Shell) for calming the spirit. Palpitations with agitation are treated, nourishing Yang and calming the heart effectively.
17. Gui Zhi Fu Zi Decoction: Gui Zhi and Fu Zi treat cold bi pain, removing Shao Yao and increasing Fu Zi dosage. Supporting Yang and dispersing cold must be considered, with a floating, weak, and rough pulse as the response.
18. Qu Gui Jia Bai Zhu Decoction: Removing Gui Zhi and adding Bai Zhu for hard stools, cold and dampness causing body pain. Bai Zhu, Fu Zi, Sheng Jiang, and Gan Cao are added; all three Yin are exhausted, and the response begins.
19. Gui Zhi Jia Shao Yao Decoction: Gui Zhi and Shao Yao for abdominal pain diagnosis, this condition originally belongs to Tai Yin. Chronic bacterial dysentery that does not resolve, with a deep, wiry, and slow pulse as the indicator.
20. Gui Zhi Jia Da Huang Decoction: Gui Zhi and Da Huang (Rhubarb) treat abdominal pain, Tai Yin and Yang Ming conditions. Harmonizing Qi and blood to relieve stagnation, those with weak stomach should use cautiously.
21. Gui Zhi Ren Shen Decoction: The Ren Shen Decoction is the principle of Li Zhong, adding Gui Zhi enhances the decoction’s strength. If there is fullness and diarrhea with severe internal cold, it warms the center and resolves the exterior with remarkable efficacy.

Ma Huang Decoction Class (Eight Formulas)
1. Ma Huang Decoction: Ma Huang Decoction treats Tai Yang cold, consisting of Ma Huang, Gui Zhi, Xing Ren, and Gan Cao. If the exterior is solid with no sweat and there is pain in the head and body, with a tight pulse and wheezing, it is worse with cold.
2. Da Qing Long Decoction: Da Qing Long consists of Ma Huang, Xing Ren, Shi Gao (Gypsum), and Da Zao, with the addition of Gui and Jiang for a total of seven ingredients. If there is no sweating, agitation, and body pain, with fluid retention in the limbs, it is effective.
3. Xiao Qing Long Decoction: Xiao Qing Long uses Ma Huang, Gui Zhi, Bai Shao, and Gan Jiang. Ban Xia (Pinellia) and Zhi Gan Cao are used in equal amounts; exterior cold and interior fluid cause illness.
4. Ma Huang Xing Ren Gan Cao Shi Gao Decoction: Ma Huang, Xing Ren, Gan Cao, and Shi Gao are used; sweating and wheezing indicate lung heat. If there is body heat and a rapid pulse, it is not cold, unlike Gui Zhi.
5. Ma Huang Lian Qiao Chi Xiao Dou Decoction: Ma Huang, Lian Qiao (Forsythia), and Chi Xiao Dou (Adzuki Bean) treat damp-heat with exterior symptoms and yellow skin. Ma and Lian, with ginger, spicy herbs, and Zhi Pi (Cortex) and Da Zao, with Xing Ren and Chi Xiao Dou boiled into a decoction.
6. Ma Huang Xi Xin Fu Zi Decoction: Ma Huang, Xi Xin (Asarum), and Fu Zi are used for Tai Shao conditions. If there is fever and aversion to cold with a weak pulse, warming the meridians and releasing the exterior is effective.
7. Ma Huang Fu Zi Gan Cao Decoction: Ma Huang, Fu Zi, and Gan Cao treat cold damage with Yang Qi injury. This formula originally has no interior symptoms, assisting Yang and inducing sweating to maintain health.
8. Ma Huang Sheng Ma Decoction: Ma Huang and Sheng Ma (Cimicifuga) with Shao Yao, Gan Jiang, and other ingredients, with a total of fourteen herbs, harmonizing cold and heat to balance Yin and Yang.

Ge Gen Decoction Class (Three Formulas)
1. Ge Gen Decoction: Ge Gen, Gui Zhi, and Ge Huang (Ge Gen) without sweating, with stiffness in the neck and back. Treating the combined disease of two Yangs with diarrhea, rigidity without sweating, and bowstring-like tension.
2. Ge Gen Jia Ban Xia Decoction: Ge Gen plus Ban Xia treats the two Yangs, with diarrhea and vomiting due to strong exterior pathogens. Releasing the exterior, relaxing the muscles, and benefiting the stomach and intestines, the combined treatment is effective.
3. Ge Gen Huang Qin Huang Lian Decoction: Ge Gen, Huang Qin (Scutellaria), and Huang Lian (Coptis) with Gan Cao, clearing heat and relieving diarrhea, with sweating as a treasure. Clearing heat and generating fluids, the decoction of Ge Gen is best at eight qian.

Di Dang Decoction Class (Three Formulas)
1. Tao He Cheng Qi Decoction: Tao He Cheng Qi consists of Tao Ren (Peach Kernel), Cheng Qi, Niao Huang (Mirabilite), and Gan Cao, with five ingredients. If there is blood accumulation in the Tai Yang causing acute abdominal pain, the person may appear mad, and the effect is good.
2. Di Dang Decoction: Di Dang consists of Da Huang (Rhubarb), with the strongest power of the insect and peach. If there is hardness in the lower abdomen and difficulty in defecation, it attacks stasis and expels heat to treat madness.
3. Di Dang Wan: Di Dang Wan is the same as Di Dang Decoction, ground into pills and boiled in water. Take one pill with the residue; it gently attacks stasis without harming.

Zhi Zi Chi Decoction Class (Seven Formulas)
1. Zhi Zi Chi Decoction: Zhi Zi and Chi Decoction treat vexation and insomnia, with a feeling of being turned upside down and unable to sleep. If there is vomiting and shortness of breath, add ginger and licorice, and do not add more medicine.
2. Zhi Zi Gan Cao Chi Decoction: See the Zhi Zi Chi Decoction above.
3. Zhi Zi Sheng Jiang Chi Decoction: See the Zhi Zi Chi Decoction above.
4. Zhi Zi Hou Po Decoction: Zhi Zi, Hou Po (Magnolia Bark), and three herbs, treating vexation and fullness in the abdomen. Clearing vexation and relieving fullness, both symptoms are treated.
5. Zhi Zi Gan Jiang Decoction: Zhi Zi and Gan Jiang (Dried Ginger) treat vexation and body heat, with no relief from diarrhea. Using both heat and cold, clearing heat and warming cold is effective.
6. Zhi Zi Zhi Zhi Decoction: Zhi Zi, Bai Pi (Cortex), and three herbs, treating heat and fullness in the abdomen. If there is vomiting or diarrhea, separate the two symptoms.
7. Zhi Zi Bai Pi Decoction: Zhi Zi and Bai Pi treat how to clear heat and dampness, with yellow urine and no increase in quantity. Zhi Zi and Huang Bai (Phellodendron) with Gan Cao clear heat and expel dampness effectively.

Xian Xiong Decoction Class (Six Formulas)
1. Da Xian Xiong Wan: Da Xian Xiong Wan is the best method, using Ban Xia (Pinellia), Ling Zhi (Ling Zhi), and Niao Huang (Mirabilite). If there is stiffness like a spasm, remember to use Da Huang and Gan Sui to eliminate.
2. Da Xian Xiong Decoction: Da Xian Xiong Decoction uses Niao Huang and Da Huang, with hardness and pain under the heart and a tight pulse. If there is internal heat and water retention, slight tidal heat should be considered.
3. Shi Zao Decoction: Shi Zao Decoction treats water under the ribs, with hardness and pain under the heart. Gan Sui and Yuan Ji (Yuan Ji) are ground into fine powder, and the decoction is boiled thick for administration.
4. Xiao Xian Xiong Decoction: Xiao Xian Xiong Decoction uses Da Gua Lou (Trichosanthes), Ban Xia, and Huang Lian (Coptis). Phlegm-heat accumulates under the heart, and it is effective to relieve phlegm and clear heat.
5. Bai San: Bai San consists of three ingredients: Ba Jiao (Bitter Orange), and Bei Mu (Fritillaria). If there is cold accumulation in the chest, this formula is precious. If there is vomiting or diarrhea, separate the two symptoms.
6. Gua Di San: Gua Di San is a method for inducing vomiting, with hardness and phlegm-evil in the chest. If Qi rushes to the throat and cannot breathe, grind the seeds and mix with Chi Decoction.

Xie Xin Decoction Class (Six Formulas)
1. Ban Xia Xie Xin Decoction: Ban Xia Xie Xin uses Ban Xia, Huang Qin, and Lian Qiao, with Ren Shen, Gan Cao, and Da Zao combined. If there is fullness and vomiting, remove the residue and re-boil to adjust the stomach and intestines.
2. Da Huang Huang Lian Xie Xin Decoction: Da Huang Huang Lian Xie Xin Decoction uses Huang Qin and Huang Lian with Da Huang. Clearing heat and relieving fullness, this decoction is effective for treating agitation and vomiting.
3. Fu Zi Xie Xin Decoction: Fu Zi Xie Xin uses Fu Zi, Huang Qin, and Huang Lian, with aversion to cold and sweating. If there is fullness, remember to boil lightly and clear heat while supporting Yang.
4. Sheng Jiang Xie Xin Decoction: Sheng Jiang Xie Xin is a good formula for stomach discomfort, with unharmonious stomach and fullness. If there is belching and diarrhea, use Ban Xia, Huang Qin, and Gan Cao.
5. Gan Cao Xie Xin Decoction: Gan Cao Xie Xin uses Huang Qin and Lian Qiao, with Gan Jiang, Ban Xia, and Ren Shen. If there is fullness and severe diarrhea, it treats the heat and vexation.
6. Xuan Fu Dai Zhe Decoction: Xuan Fu Dai Zhe treats fullness in the middle, with belching and discomfort. If there is gas not removed, use Ren Shen, Gan Cao, and Ban Xia.

Gan Cao Decoction Class (Four Formulas)
1. Gan Cao Decoction: Gan Cao is the name of the decoction for sore throat, using one liang of raw herb. Do not say this is a middle-jiao medicine; it clears and resolves Shao Yin effectively.
2. Zhi Gan Cao Decoction: Zhi Gan Cao Decoction treats Shao Yin deficiency, with palpitations and a tight pulse. Using Mai Dong (Ophiopogon), Ma Jiao (Jujube), and Gan Jiang, the method of decoction is remarkable.
3. Gan Cao Fu Zi Decoction: Gan Cao Fu Zi Decoction consists of four ingredients: Gui Zhi, Bai Zhu, and the formula is complete. If there is joint pain, avoid wind and shortness of breath, with Yang deficiency.
4. Gan Cao Gan Jiang Decoction: Gan Cao and Gan Jiang are used together, warming the lungs and moving the spleen to warm the limbs. In Jin Kui, it is used to treat lung atrophy, cough with excessive phlegm, and urinary incontinence.

Ling Gui Zhu Gan Decoction Class (Six Formulas)
1. Fu Ling Gui Zhi Bai Zhu Gan Cao Decoction: Ling Gui Zhu Gan is a warm formula, with Qi rushing to the chest causing water retention. Dizziness and palpitations with heavy Yin evil, coughing and shortness of breath are effectively treated.
2. Fu Ling Gui Zhi Gan Cao Da Zao Decoction: Ling Gui Zhi Gan Cao Da Zao treats water evil under the navel, with palpitations. If Qi rushes upward, it causes a rushing sensation; the sweet water decoction is effective.
3. Fu Ling Gan Cao Decoction (Ling Gui Jiang Gan Decoction): Fu Ling Gan Cao with Gui Zhi and Gan Jiang treats water retention in the stomach causing palpitations. If Qi rushes to the lower abdomen, it may lead to diarrhea; it strengthens the stomach and relieves water retention.
4. Wu Ling San: Wu Ling consists of Fu Ling, Gui Zhi, Ze Xie (Alisma), and Bai Zhu, treating water retention in the bladder. If there is thirst and agitation with poor urination, drinking leads to vomiting and a floating pulse.
5. Zhu Ling Decoction: Zhu Ling Decoction treats Shao Yin deficiency, with heat and water retention causing vexation and vomiting. If urination is not smooth and there is thirst, it consists of Ze Xie, Fu Ling, and Hua Shi (Talc).
6. Wen Ge San: Wen Ge San treats excessive sweating, with meat and grain causing increased vexation. If there is no thirst, it is effective for treating vexation.

Huang Qin Huang Lian Decoction Class (Four Formulas)
1. Huang Qin Decoction: Huang Qin Decoction treats Tai Shao diarrhea, with acute abdominal pain and a thin pulse. Huang Qin, Bai Shao, Gan Cao, and Da Zao clear heat and harmonize Yin, balancing the liver.
2. Huang Qin Jia Ban Xia Sheng Jiang Decoction: Huang Qin’s original formula adds Ban Xia and Sheng Jiang, treating vomiting and diarrhea with damage to the stomach and intestines. Tai Shao combined with heat leads to excessive bitterness and treatment of Shao Yang.
3. Huang Lian Decoction: Huang Lian Decoction includes Ren Shen, Lian Qiao, and Gan Cao, with ginger, Bai Shao, and Da Zao. If there is stomach pain and heat in the chest, vomiting and abdominal pain, this formula is a treasure.
4. Huang Lian A Jiao Decoction: Huang Lian A Jiao treats Shao Yin, with agitation and insomnia, and a rapid pulse. If the tip of the tongue is like a plum, it is mixed with Huang Qin, Lian Qiao, and A Jiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin).

Bai Hu Decoction Class (Three Formulas)
1. Bai Hu Decoction: Bai Hu treats vexation and thirst with Shi Gao, with great heat and sweating, and a rapid pulse. Zhi Gan Cao and four herbs are sufficient to clear Qi, generate fluids, and moisten dryness.
2. Bai Hu Jia Ren Shen Decoction: Bai Hu plus Ren Shen treats Qi and Yin injury, with vexation and thirst, and a large pulse. If there is excessive sweating, the pulse becomes hollow, with slight aversion to cold and a yellow tongue.
3. Zhu Ye Shi Gao Decoction: Zhu Ye Shi Gao treats Qi and Yin injury, with post-illness weakness and vomiting. If there is no desire for tea or food, it consists of Zhu Ye, Shi Gao, and Ban Xia.

Cheng Qi Decoction Class (Six Formulas)
1. Tiao Wei Cheng Qi Decoction: Tiao Wei Cheng Qi uses Da Huang, Mang Xiao (Sodium Sulfate), and Gan Cao, treating unharmonious stomach Qi with vexation and heat, with dry stools and a yellow tongue.
2. Xiao Cheng Qi Decoction: Xiao Cheng Qi uses Hou Po and Zhi Shi (Bitter Orange), treating hard stools and vexation. Recognizing the severity of dryness and accumulation, the pulse is slippery and not tight, using this formula.
3. Da Cheng Qi Decoction: Da Cheng Qi uses Mang Xiao and Da Huang, with Hou Po and Zhi Shi. If there is tidal heat and profuse sweating, with abdominal fullness and pain, it is a strong attack.
4. Ma Zi Ren Wan: Ma Zi Ren Wan is effective for constipation, with hard stools and low fluids. Zhi Shi, Hou Po, and Da Huang are used to strengthen the stomach, while Ma Huang and Shao Yao nourish the spleen.

6. Zhu Dan Zhi Guo Fang: After cooking honey, it looks like syrup, slightly cool and kneaded into a four-inch piece. It is used to moisten the anus and relieve constipation, following ancient methods. If there is fluid deficiency and heat, use pig bile for effective results.

Chai Hu Decoction Class (Seven Formulas)
1. Xiao Chai Hu Decoction: Xiao Chai Hu Decoction resolves Shao Yang, with fullness in the chest and pain in the ribs, with vomiting. Bitter taste, dry throat, and dizziness are treated with Chai Hu (Bupleurum), Huang Qin, Ren Shen, Gan Cao, and Da Zao.
2. Da Chai Hu Decoction: Da Chai Hu Decoction uses Da Huang and Zhi Shi, with Chai Hu, Huang Qin, Gan Jiang, Bai Shao, and Da Zao. If there is a combined disease of Shao Ming with Qi and fire stagnation, it treats vomiting, bitter taste, and urgency under the heart.
3. Chai Hu Jia Mang Xiao Decoction: Xiao Chai Hu plus Mang Xiao is a combined formula, with Mang Xiao added after boiling. If there is tidal heat and fullness in the chest and ribs, it harmonizes the stomach and gallbladder, benefiting Shao Yang.
4. Chai Hu Gui Zhi Decoction: Chai Hu and Gui Zhi combined treat Tai Shao and two meridian diseases. If there is fullness under the heart and joint pain, it can also harmonize the liver.
5. Chai Hu Gui Zhi Gan Jiang Decoction: Chai Hu and Gan Jiang treat pain in the ribs and back, with unformed stools and poor urination. Yang evil transforms into Yin Qi, with Chai Hu, Huang Qin, Gan Jiang, and Gan Cao.
6. Chai Hu Jia Long Gu Mu Li Decoction: Chai Hu plus Long Gu and Mu Li, with Da Huang and Fu Ling, is essential. Removing Gan Cao, it treats fullness and agitation with difficulty in urination.
7. Si Ni San: Chai Hu, Bai Shao, Zhi Shi, and Gan Cao in Si Ni San treat liver stagnation and Qi blockage, with cold limbs. The pulse is deep and wiry, with chest and rib pain, requiring treatment based on symptoms.

Shao Yao Dang Gui Decoction Class (Four Formulas)
1. Shao Yao Gan Cao Decoction: Shao Yao and Gan Cao treat muscle spasms and cramps in the toes. Bitter and sweet harmonize Yin and benefit blood circulation, nourishing Yin and softening the liver for effective results.
2. Shao Yao Gan Cao Fu Zi Decoction: Shao Yao, Gan Cao, and Fu Zi treat post-sweating deficiency of Yin and Yang. If there is aversion to cold and no heat, it should be warmed and supplemented, with Shao Yao and Gan Cao assisting Yang.
3. Dang Gui Si Ni Decoction: Dang Gui Si Ni treats cold extremities, with a thin pulse indicating severe cold. Dang Gui, Shao Yao, Gui Zhi, and Gan Cao are used to nourish blood and dispel cold from the liver.
4. Dang Gui Si Ni Jia Wu Zhu Yu Sheng Jiang Decoction: Dang Gui Si Ni plus Wu Zhu Yu (Evodia) and Sheng Jiang treats internal cold with a long history. If there is a need for five doses, it should be taken slowly for recovery.

Gan Jiang Decoction Class (Three Formulas)
1. Gan Jiang Fu Zi Decoction: Gan Jiang and Fu Zi treat Shao Yin, with Yang deficiency causing agitation and insomnia. If there is no vomiting or thirst, with no exterior symptoms, and no significant heat, the pulse is slightly deep.
2. Gan Jiang Huang Qin Huang Lian Ren Shen Decoction: Gan Jiang, Huang Qin, Huang Lian, and Ren Shen, with spicy and bitter harmonizing. Each ingredient is used in equal amounts, and this formula is precious for all conditions.
3. Li Zhong Wan (Decoction): Li Zhong uses Bai Zhu and Ren Shen, with Gan Jiang and Zhi Gan Cao. If there is deficiency of spleen Yang and severe cold dampness, with fullness and vomiting, the pulse is slow and deep.

Chi Shi Zhi Decoction Class (Two Formulas)
1. Chi Shi Zhi Yu Yu Liang Decoction: Chi Shi and Yu Liang treat diarrhea, with smooth stools and no restriction. It is not suitable for Li Zhong, as it is astringent to solidify.
2. Tao Hua Decoction: Tao Hua and Chi Shi, with rice and Gan Jiang, treat Shao Yin diarrhea with pus and blood. Warming and solidifying the lower abdomen, the decoction is effective.

Si Ni Decoction Class (Nine Formulas)
1. Si Ni Decoction: Si Ni uses Fu Zi and Gan Jiang, with Gan Cao to treat Shao Yin Yang deficiency, with cold limbs and agitation. The pulse is deep and weak, with vomiting and diarrhea.
2. Si Ni Jia Ren Shen Decoction: Si Ni plus Ren Shen treats what is needed, with diarrhea and excessive Yin. Si Ni supports Yang and nourishes blood, while also transforming the essence.

1. Hou Po Sheng Jiang Ban Xia Gan Cao Ren Shen Decoction: Hou Po, Ban Xia, and Sheng Jiang treat abdominal distension and are effective for relieving phlegm. If spleen Qi is not moving and phlegm is accumulating, the method of three supplements and seven dispersions is remarkable.
2. Yin Chen Hao Decoction: Yin Chen Hao Decoction treats jaundice, with Yin and Yang cold and heat. Yang jaundice uses Da Huang and Zhi Zi, while Yin jaundice uses Fu Zi and Gan Jiang.
3. Zhu Fu Decoction: Zhu Fu Decoction uses pig skin boiled in water, reducing the water by half. After adding powder and honey, it is effective for Shao Yin sore throat and vexation.
4. Jie Geng Decoction: Gan Cao and Jie Geng treat sore throat, with anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effects. If there is hidden heat in the throat, avoid bitter and cold herbs.
5. Ku Jiu Decoction: Ban Xia in one piece, fourteen pieces, with chicken broth and bitter wine stirred several times. If there is pain in the throat, swallow frequently for remarkable effects.
