Tu Fu Ling Congee (土茯苓粥)【Ingredients】30g Tu Fu Ling (Smilax glabra), 100g japonica rice.【Preparation】First, wash the Tu Fu Ling, dry it in the sun or bake it, and grind it into a fine powder for later use. Wash the japonica rice, place it in a clay pot, add water, and cook until it becomes thick congee. When the congee is nearly done, stir in the Tu Fu Ling powder, mix well, and cook until boiling. Take it twice a day, morning and evening.【Effects】Used for various types of gout patients. Bai He Congee (百合粥)【Ingredients】100g Bai He (Lily bulb), 100g japonica rice.【Preparation】First, pick out the Bai He, break it into petals, wash it, and then add it to the washed japonica rice in a clay pot with an appropriate amount of water. Boil on high heat, then simmer on low heat until the Bai He and japonica rice are soft and the congee is thick. Take it twice a day, morning and evening.【Effects】Suitable for elderly patients during acute gout attacks, especially mild cases. Tian Ma and Du Zhong Powder (天麻杜仲粉)【Ingredients】150g Tian Ma (Gastrodia elata), 150g Du Zhong (Eucommia ulmoides).【Preparation】First, pick out and wash the Tian Ma and Du Zhong, dry them in the sun or bake them, chop them, and grind them into a fine powder, then store in a bottle for later use. Take 6g twice a day with warm water.【Effects】Suitable for chronic gout patients. Yi Yi Ren Congee (薏仁粥)【Ingredients】30g Yi Yi Ren (Coix seed), 50g japonica rice.【Preparation】Wash the Yi Yi Ren and japonica rice together, add water, and boil on medium heat, then switch to low heat until the congee is thick.【Effects】Drains damp-heat from the lower jiao, alleviates irritability, thirst, strengthens the spleen, and benefits the lungs and stomach. Suitable for gout patients with gastric ulcers, damp bi syndrome, and leukorrhea.【Application】Take one small bowl of congee each time, twice a day. Radish and Japonica Rice Congee (萝卜粳米粥)【Ingredients】50g white radish, 50g japonica rice.【Preparation】Wash the white radish, peel and cut it into pieces, wash the japonica rice, and boil for about 10 minutes before adding the radish pieces. Cook until the congee is thick.【Effects】Radish helps to relieve qi stagnation and bloating, aids digestion, and is suitable for gout patients with abdominal bloating and constipation.【Application】Take one small bowl of congee each time, twice a day. Grape Congee (葡萄粥)【Ingredients】30g fresh grapes, 50g japonica rice, 750ml water. Preparation: Cook fresh grapes and japonica rice together until the congee is ready. Usage: Should be consumed regularly. Effects: Suitable for patients with acute gout attacks. Celery Congee (芹菜粥) 【Ingredients】100g celery (with roots), 30g japonica rice, 750ml water. Preparation: Wash the celery and chop it, then cook it with the japonica rice until the congee is ready. Add a small amount of salt and monosodium glutamate. Usage: Can be consumed regularly. Effects: Suitable for gout attacks. Papaya Soup (木瓜汤) 【Ingredients】100g papaya, 30g Yi Yi Ren. Preparation: Boil the above ingredients in water and drink the juice. Usage: Can be consumed regularly. Effects: Clears heat, drains dampness, alleviates pain, suitable for acute gout attacks with significant joint pain. Chestnut Congee (栗子粥) 【Ingredients】30g chestnut powder, 50g glutinous rice, 750ml water. Preparation: Cook the above ingredients together until the congee is ready. Usage: Can be consumed regularly. Effects: Suitable for patients without gout attacks. Huang Hua Wine (黄花酒) 【Ingredients】30g fresh daylily roots, an appropriate amount of yellow wine. Preparation: Boil the daylily roots in water, strain, and take the juice. Usage: Once daily. Effects: Effective for joint pain and swelling caused by gout, improving mobility.
