Ba Zhen Wan (Eight Treasure Pill)
Composed of Ren Shen (Ginseng), Bai Zhu (White Atractylodes), Fu Ling (Poria), Gan Cao (Licorice), Di Huang (Rehmannia), Dang Gui (Angelica), Bai Shao (White Peony), and Chuan Xiong (Szechuan Lovage), it has the effect of tonifying both Qi and blood. It is particularly suitable for symptoms of blood deficiency such as weakness, pale complexion, poor appetite, fatigue, and shortness of breath due to blood loss from trauma, gastrointestinal bleeding, or functional uterine bleeding in women. Long-term use is safe and often yields good results.
Ren Shen Yang Rong Wan (Ginseng Nourishing Pill)
Composed of Ren Shen (Ginseng), Huang Qi (Astragalus), Bai Zhu (White Atractylodes), Fu Ling (Poria), Gan Cao (Licorice), Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia), Dang Gui (Angelica), Bai Shao (White Peony), Rou Gui (Cinnamon), Chen Pi (Dried Tangerine Peel), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra), Yuan Zhi (Polygala), Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger), and Da Zao (Jujube), it tonifies Qi and blood, calms the mind, and is suitable for those with anemia accompanied by insomnia.
Gui Pi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction)

Qi Bao Mei Ran Dan (Seven Treasure Special Hair Pill)
Composed of He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti), Fu Ling (Poria), Niu Xi (Achyranthes), Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berries), Dang Gui (Angelica), Tu Si Zi (Dodder Seed), and Bu Gu Zhi (Psoralea), it nourishes the liver and kidneys, replenishes blood, and darkens hair. Gui Lu Er Xian Jiao (Tortoise and Deer Antler Gel)

He Che Da Zao Wan (Purple River Horse Pill)

Sheng Xue Wan (Blood-Generating Pill)

Tonifies and nourishes Qi and blood. It is used for physical weakness and deficiency of both Qi and blood.
Yi Sui Sheng Xue Ke Li (Bone Marrow Blood-Generating Granules)
This is the first innovative drug developed for treating anemia based on the TCM theory that the kidneys store essence and marrow, and essence and blood share the same source. It is characterized by nourishing Yin, tonifying the kidneys, benefiting marrow and blood, tonifying Qi, strengthening the spleen, resolving phlegm, and reducing jaundice, suitable for spleen and kidney deficiency with insufficient essence and blood. Dosage:Oral, 2-4 capsules each time, twice a day.
Huan Shao Jiao Nang (Return to Youth Capsules)
Warms the kidneys, tonifies the spleen, nourishes blood, and benefits essence. It is used for spleen and kidney deficiency, lower back and knee soreness, impotence, tinnitus, dizziness, essence and blood depletion, physical weakness, reduced appetite, and toothache.
Ingredients:Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia), Shan Zhu Yu (Cornus), Shan Yao (Fried Chinese Yam), Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berries), Du Zhong (Salt-Processed Eucommia), Ba Ji Tian (Fried Morinda), Rou Cong Rong (Cistanche), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra), Xiao Hui Xiang (Salt-Processed Fennel), Chao Shi Zi (Fried Paper Mulberry Seed), Niu Xi (Achyranthes), Fu Ling (Poria), and 15 other ingredients.

Shen Qi Gou Rou (Ginseng and Goji Dog Meat)
Recipe:Dog meat 1000g, Dang Shen (Codonopsis) 20g, Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berries) 10g, Tu Si Zi (Dodder Seed) 10g, Sha Ren (Amomum) 5g, Niu Xi (Achyranthes) 15g.
Preparation:Except for the dog meat, add the other ingredients into a clay pot with water and simmer for 30 minutes, then strain the medicinal liquid. Cut the dog meat into small pieces, marinate with soy sauce, sugar, yellow wine, scallions, ginger, and monosodium glutamate, then place in a pot with the medicinal liquid and appropriate amount of water, boil, and then simmer until the dog meat is tender.
Effect:Benefits Qi, warms Yang, and nourishes blood.
Usage:Serve with meals.
Qi Zao Yang Gu Guo (Astragalus and Jujube Lamb Bone Porridge)
Recipe:Lamb bones about 1000g, Huang Qi (Astragalus) 30g, Da Zao (Jujube) 10 pieces, and Jing Mi (Glutinous Rice) 100g.
Preparation:First, break the lamb bones and add them with Huang Qi and Da Zao into a clay pot with water to make a broth, then use this broth to cook the porridge. When the porridge is nearly done, add fine salt, ginger, and scallions to taste, and simmer briefly.
Usage:Eat warm on an empty stomach, with a course lasting 10-15 days.
Effect:Strengthens the kidneys, strengthens muscles, and benefits Qi.
Hua Sheng Hong Zao Tang (Peanut and Jujube Soup)
Recipe:Whole peanuts 200g, red dates 30-50g.
Preparation:Put red dates and peanuts in a pot with an appropriate amount of water and cook until the peanuts are tender.
Usage:Eat the red dates and peanuts, drink the soup.
Effect:Warms and tonifies the spleen and kidneys.

Yang Rou Shan Yao Chong Cao Tang (Lamb, Yam, and Cordyceps Soup)
Recipe:Lamb 750g, Dong Chong Xia Cao (Cordyceps) 4g, Shan Yao (Yam) 30g, Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berries) 10g, Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger) 6g, Da Zao (Jujube) 3g, and appropriate salt.
Preparation:1. Wash the lamb and cut it into pieces, blanch in boiling water; 2. Place the blanched lamb with cleaned Dong Chong Xia Cao, Shan Yao, Gou Qi Zi, Sheng Jiang, and Da Zao in a clay pot; 3. Add appropriate water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 3 hours, and season with salt.
Dietary Remedies for Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency Anemia
Ni Sui Shan Yao Mi (Beef Marrow, Yam, and Honey)
Recipe:Beef marrow 250g, fresh yam 250g, Dong Chong Xia Cao (Cordyceps) 30g, placental powder 30g, honey 250g.
Preparation:Mix well, place in a ceramic jar, and steam in a pot for 30 minutes.
Usage:Take 2 tablespoons each time, twice a day, for several doses.
Applicable Population:Suitable for those with clinical manifestations such as dizziness, tinnitus, afternoon fever, hot hands and feet, nocturnal emissions, and spontaneous sweating due to liver and kidney Yin deficiency anemia.
Dietary Remedies for Hemolytic Anemia
Gou Qi Da Zao Xiao Mi Zhou (Goji, Jujube, and Millet Porridge)
Recipe:Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berries) 20g, Da Zao (Jujube) 50g, Shan Yao (Yam) 20g, peanuts 20g, and millet 50g.
Preparation:Add 150ml of water and cook into porridge.
Applicable Population:For those with pale complexion and fatigue during hemolytic episodes and intervals.
Ren Shen, Dong Chong Xia Cao Stewed Chicken (Ginseng and Cordyceps Chicken)
Recipe:Ren Shen (Ginseng) 10g, Dong Chong Xia Cao (Cordyceps), one black chicken, and Dou Ban (Lentils) 20g.
Preparation:Add appropriate water, season with salt and oil, and simmer for 2 hours, then drink the soup and eat the meat.
Applicable Population:For treating fatigue, spontaneous sweating, shortness of breath, and laziness to speak during hemolytic intervals; use with caution for those with Yin deficiency symptoms.
Dietary Remedies for Female Anemia
San Hong Tang (Three Red Soup)
Ingredients:“San Hong Tang” consists of 7 red dates, 50g red beans, and an appropriate amount of red-skinned peanuts.
Preparation:Simmer the three ingredients together and consume the soup.
Effect:Can treat general anemia or iron deficiency anemia.
Si Wu Tang (Four Substance Decoction)
Composition:Dang Gui (10g), Chuan Xiong (8g), Bai Shao (12g), Shu Di Huang (12g).
Function:Tonifies blood and regulates menstruation.
Indications:For deficiency of Chong and Ren, irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, excessive bleeding, blood stasis, and pain. For pregnancy-related issues, such as fetal movement instability, continuous bleeding, and postpartum complications.
Usage:Modern method: decoct as a soup, take orally. Can be taken three times a day on an empty stomach.
Contraindications:Use with caution.

Gui Yuan Rou (Longan Meat)
Each 100g of longan meat contains about 3.9mg of iron, making it one of the richer fruits in iron content, suitable for dietary therapy for anemia, typically used in soups or porridge. However, longan meat is a warming food and is not suitable for pregnant women and children.
Hei Zao (Black Jujube)
Among dried jujubes, black jujubes and honey jujubes are the most esteemed, containing about 3.7-3.9mg of iron per 100g, making them excellent blood-nourishing foods. Dried jujubes are also rich in vitamin C, which is an important factor in promoting iron absorption, enhancing the body’s ability to absorb iron. However, dried jujubes are high in dietary fiber, which can hinder digestion, so they should not be consumed in excess and are best used in soups or porridge.
Dietary Remedies for Anemia in Pregnancy
Ren Shen Zhou (Ginseng Porridge)
Ingredients:Ginseng powder (or Dang Shen powder 15g), a small amount of rock sugar, and 100g of glutinous rice.
Preparation:Cook as porridge for regular consumption.

Gou Qi Zhou (Goji Porridge)
