Enhancing Immune Function
Astragalus can increase the levels of T lymphocyte subgroups, preventing chemotherapy drugs from damaging the immune function, thereby enhancing the body’s immune capabilities and improving treatment outcomes.
1. Treating Gastritis
If suffering from experimental gastritis, drinking Astragalus tea daily can effectively alleviate symptoms, and the protein levels in urine will decrease.
2. Treating Fatigue
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is believed that drinking Astragalus tea regularly can improve mental well-being and gradually alleviate shortness of breath.

6. Helicobacter Pylori Positive Gastric Ulcer
Infusing fifty grams of Astragalus in boiling water for half an hour and drinking it as tea daily for a month is recommended.
7. Psoriasis
This condition can be treated by combining Astragalus with Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis), Sheng Di Huang (Rehmannia), and Bai Ji Li (Tribulus Terrestris), preparing thirty grams of each herb, and decocting twice daily.
8. Diabetes
Diabetic patients often experience edema and a sallow complexion. Drinking Astragalus tea with Ge Gen (Pueraria) is beneficial; if lower limb ulcers occur, a combination of Astragalus, Ge Gen, Chi Shao (Red Peony), and Dan Shen (Salvia) can be used for adjustment.
9. Chronic Rhinitis
Decoction of Astragalus, Bai Zhu (Atractylodes), and Fang Feng can effectively treat spontaneous sweating, allergic rhinitis, asthma, colds, and other conditions.
10. Osteoporosis
Patients with osteoporosis can consider using Huang Qi Gui Zhi Wu (Astragalus and Cinnamon Decoction), which can effectively treat lower limb numbness.
11. Spleen Qi Deficiency
Common symptoms of Spleen Qi deficiency include fatigue, shortness of breath, and excessive phlegm. Decocting Astragalus with Dang Shen (Codonopsis), Bai Zhu, and Fu Ling (Poria) can effectively treat Spleen deficiency.
