Six Medicinal Diets for Gynecological Disorders

1. Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy: Place a slice of Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger) under the tongue; or finely chop a small amount of Sheng Jiang and add it to the rice porridge when it is nearly cooked, then consume together.
2. Dysmenorrhea: Boil 15 grams of fresh Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger) with an appropriate amount of brown sugar in water.
3. Menorrhagia: Boil 15 grams of Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger), 10 grams of Ai Ye (Mugwort), and 2 eggs in an appropriate amount of water until cooked. Remove the shells and boil again, then drink the broth and eat the eggs.
4. Postpartum recovery: Peel and cut 500 grams of Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger) into pieces, cut 2 pig trotters in half, and cook them together with 1000 milliliters of sweet vinegar until done. Consume over several days. This formula is effective for strengthening the spleen and stomach, replenishing qi and blood, promoting lactation, and dispersing blood stasis.
5. Insufficient lactation postpartum: Use an appropriate amount of Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger), 500 grams of Mu Guo (Papaya), and 500 grams of rice vinegar, and stew them in a clay pot, consuming in portions.
6. Amenorrhea: Use an appropriate amount of Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger) and 250 grams of boneless Wu Zui Yu (Cuttlefish), stir-fry with oil and salt. This method is effective for nourishing blood and regulating menstruation.
