This is a patient I received on December 31.
Today is the last day of consultations, and a patient came in who had previously been treated here, mainly for rhinitis, pharyngitis, and pharyngeal inflammation.
Upon his arrival today, I noticed that his nasal turbinate hypertrophy had improved significantly. He told me, “Teacher Dan, my breathing has been very good lately, and my airflow is smooth. A colleague I stayed with during a business trip said that my snoring has decreased a lot.” I also observed that his nasal turbinate had improved somewhat, but it was still not small, so I treated him again today.
Today, I treated him again and noticed that his uvula was quite large. A large uvula can affect sleep and breathing. An enlarged uvula can sometimes obstruct the airway, making snoring worse. I suggested that he consider having a portion of the enlarged uvula removed. After the removal, his sleep and breathing would be smoother, and his snoring would significantly reduce. After discussing with him, he agreed to undergo fire needle therapy to cut the uvula.
This is a comparison before and after treatment; you can see that his posterior pharyngeal wall and airway have widened significantly.
Thus, I used the electric fire needle to perform the uvula cutting treatment. After completing the procedure, I felt it went very well and was quite successful. I believe that in another 15 to 20 days, his condition will improve even more.
During our conversation today, he mentioned, “Teacher Dan, the effect of the fire needle therapy is excellent. I can feel a significant improvement in my nose and pharyngitis. Today, I looked at his nose and felt that there would be no need for further needling; the enlarged nasal turbinate has already shrunk, and he also said that his breathing is very smooth. Since the last treatment, he has not experienced any nasal congestion, but I believe he still needs to come in for two more sessions for his throat and posterior pharyngeal wall.
Many people suffer from such conditions, and every day, I treat patients with chronic pharyngitis and nasal turbinate hypertrophy. Since these belong to respiratory system diseases, those who frequently catch colds are likely to have such sequelae, which increases the likelihood of developing these conditions. Currently, there are many patients with pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and pharyngeal inflammation, and Western medicine does not have effective treatments for these diseases. Such conditions can only be treated with fire needle therapy; even surgery may not yield good results.
Therefore, I believe that the fire needle technique I developed, which directly targets the throat and posterior pharyngeal wall, is truly remarkable, as it resolves many cases of pharyngitis, chronic pharyngitis, posterior pharyngeal wall narrowing, and pharyngeal inflammation.
After fire needle therapy, the first effect is stable; second, it boosts vital energy; and third, it significantly reduces the probability of developing other diseases.
Often, we say that surgical treatment may still have a chance of recurrence even after surgery. While I cannot say that fire needle therapy will prevent recurrence, the frequency of recurrence will be much lower. The fire needle effectively cauterizes the lesions, flattening them and eliminating the triggers for the disease. Even if recurrence occurs, fire needle therapy can be applied again without damaging the original physiological structure. I believe this method is truly excellent.
My student, Luo Shiling, who is nearly 70 years old, is a retired music teacher. She has undergone treatment here 13 times for chronic pharyngitis, narrowing of the pharyngeal wall, and pharyngeal inflammation. After 13 treatments, her condition has improved significantly. She said, “Teacher Dan, I have been seeking treatment in Beijing for about nine years. During these nine years, I have visited many hospitals and consulted numerous specialists, but none could cure my condition. The feeling of suffering was unbearable, making it difficult for me to speak. I had not found the right path or the right expert, so my condition kept recurring. When it flared up, it was truly unbearable. After these 13 treatments, I feel much better and have hope, and it has also helped treat many of my other ailments.”
Do not underestimate the severity of ENT diseases; they can be quite serious. Our body is a whole, and ENT diseases can lead to systemic issues. My student’s condition progressed from ENT issues to headaches, throat pain, tinnitus, hearing loss, and ear blockage. This illustrates that the five senses are interconnected; any illness can eventually affect surrounding organs and nerves.
If we treat ENT diseases at an ENT clinic, we can only receive IV drips, take herbal medicine, or use Western medicine; there are no other treatment methods. Fire needle therapy is faster and more direct in targeting the lesions, resulting in excellent outcomes.
