IIntroduction:Lung tuberculosis lesions are in the lungs, but the surrounding areas are also affected. Traditionally, treatments have often focused on sweet and cold herbs to nourish yin and moisten the lungs, which can easily damage the source qi. This paste formula uses Huang Qi (Astragalus) and Bie Jia (Soft-shelled Turtle Shell) powder, combined with Bai He Guo Jin Tang (Lily Bulb Decoction) modified to treat all stages of lung tuberculosis, showing quick results and convenient administration. Shake well before use, warm, take 10ml three times a day. Formula Explanation: This paste formula uses Huang Qi and Bie Jia powder, combined with Bai He Guo Jin Tang modified to treat all stages of lung tuberculosis. This disease is a chronic consumptive illness, difficult to achieve quick results. Decoctions take time to prepare, while pills are slow to take effect; only pastes provide a one-time solution, tailored to symptoms, and are quickly effective and convenient for patients to accept. Although the lesions are in the lungs, the surrounding areas are also affected. Especially in chronic cases, the depletion of qi and blood can severely damage the spleen and kidney essence, threatening life. It has taken 30 years to establish this formula since 1996. It may seem unconventional, but it embodies the intention of repairing the foundation before the sheep are lost. Historically, the treatment of tuberculosis has often been based on the theory of yin deficiency and excess heat, using sweet and cold herbs to nourish yin and moisten the lungs, which has become a standard method. However, even with a balanced formula like Bai He Guo Jin Tang, those with spleen yang deficiency can experience adverse effects after taking more than 5 doses, leading to poor appetite and loose stools, gradually diminishing vitality. This is still a mild harm; in worse cases, bitter cold herbs can purge heat and clear dampness, leading to a complete failure of stomach qi. Once the source qi is damaged, the lung’s transformation source is depleted, making recovery extremely difficult. This formula prioritizes protecting stomach qi, heavily using Sheng Qi as the monarch, sweet and warm to benefit qi and reduce deficiency heat, combined with Shan Yu Rou and Duan Long Mu to consolidate essence, stop night sweats, relieve wheezing, and reduce bone steaming; with the spicy and sweet warmth of Rou Gui (Cinnamon), it supplements the true fire of the spleen and kidney, guiding false heat back to the kidney, further enhanced by ginger juice to warm the spleen and stomach. The two herbs work together to counteract the cold and dampness of the nourishing yin herbs, nourishing lung yin without harming spleen yang. Additionally, Ji Nei Jin aids in transportation and transformation, strengthening the spleen and stomach, achieving the effect of nourishing the earth to generate gold. Mao Zhua Cao and Bai Bu are specific medicines for lung tuberculosis, while Gong Lao Ye cools and strengthens, assisting Sheng Qi in reducing steaming. The three gels, being of flesh and blood, supplement both yin and yang, benefiting all surrounding areas, leading to self-healing of lung tuberculosis. Approximately 100 patients have been treated, all showing stable improvement.
