1. Weakness and pain in the lower back and knees are due to the inability of Kidney Yang to warm and nourish the lumbar region and bones;
2. Male sexual dysfunction and female infertility due to cold in the uterus are caused by insufficient Kidney Yang, leading to diminished reproductive function;
3. The decline of Mingmen Fire (Mingmen Huo) results in the inability to generate Earth, causing the Spleen to lose its ability to transport and transform, which can lead to chronic diarrhea, undigested food, and nocturnal diarrhea;
4. The Kidneys govern urination; insufficient Kidney Yang and bladder Qi transformation obstruction can lead to frequent urination, clear and profuse urine, and nocturia;
5. Edema, particularly below the waist, originates from the stagnation of water and fluids, which overflow into the skin;
6. Severe Kidney Yang deficiency and the diffusion of turbid Yin can cause a dark and dull complexion;
7. Cold intolerance and cold limbs, especially in the lower extremities, occur because Yang is unable to warm the skin;
8. Mental fatigue is due to insufficient Yang Qi, leading to a lack of vitality in the spirit;
9. Weak circulation of Qi and blood, unable to nourish the clear orifices, results in a pale complexion and dizziness;
10. A pale, swollen tongue with a white coating and a weak, slow pulse are indicative of Yang deficiency.
Warming and tonifying Kidney Yang, replenishing essence, is used for erectile dysfunction, low libido, impotence, and premature ejaculation; for women, it addresses cold limbs, cold in the uterus, infertility, and dysmenorrhea associated with Kidney Yang deficiency.
